A Matching Service for Delrin and POM Machining, Not a Marketplace
We read your RFQ, match it with up to 3 shops that already cut acetal, and step out of the way. No auctions, no bidding war, no commission on the order.
What we do
Delrin CNC exists to do one narrow thing well: connect buyers who need Delrin, acetal or POM parts machined with shops that already cut that material regularly. We do not own machines, we do not hold stock and we do not quote your part ourselves. A person reads every RFQ, checks it against what each shop in our network runs, and sends it to a short list. Usually 3, sometimes fewer if the part is unusual.
Why this exists instead of a bigger marketplace
The large manufacturing marketplaces are built for volume: post an RFQ and it goes out to a wide pool of shops that bid against each other. That works for buyers who want the lowest number and do not mind a long list of quotes to sort through. It works less well for the shops on the other end. Open bidding on generalist platforms pushes prices toward what the lowest bidder will accept, and shops that specialize in a narrow material end up competing with shops that do not.
We built Delrin CNC around a different trade. A buyer gets fewer quotes, not more, but every shop that sees the RFQ already runs acetal and was matched on fit rather than on being one of a hundred bidders. A shop gets fewer leads, not more, but each one is a request its machines and stock can actually handle, with no bidding war attached.
What buyers can count on
- Sending an RFQ costs nothing and creates no obligation.
- Your name, company and files go only to the shops we match, up to 3. Shops first see an anonymous preview.
- Ask for an NDA and nothing beyond the preview moves until it is signed.
- We reply within 24 business hours, with matched shops or a plain no if nothing fits.
What shops can count on
- Every RFQ preview is checked against your registered machines, stock and part envelope before it reaches you.
- You pay for the leads you take. There is no subscription and no commission on the order you win with the buyer.
- You deal with the buyer directly once you take the lead. We do not sit in the middle of the quote or the order.
What we are not
We are not a machine shop, and nothing on this site should read as a claim to own equipment or hold material stock. We are not a bidding platform: an RFQ we match is not broadcast to a large pool of shops to fight over. And we are not a distributor of Delrin or any branded acetal. Delrin is a trademark of its owner, and we use the name only to describe the material buyers ask for.
